JUJU

midi dress // all saints/JUJU
mini dress // H&M
belt // primark
shoes // newlook

ahhh my house mates are dragging me out again tonight! I think my liver must hate me. I had the 'what to wear' dilemma too. Then I remembered I had this dress that I got from a  independent store in Brighton. Its half new stock and half re-bought stock. This was originally an All Saints dress. They only had size 14 but if I leave it open it actually looks alright! such a bargain

Freshers dress

dress // miss guided
bracelet // H&M
earrings // topshop
shoes // urban outfitters

I have never struggled so much to put on a dress! It took me about 15 minutes to work out which string went in which hole, so long. when I had worked it out I loved it. I think it is unique to all my other lbd's (a little revealing) but amazing never the less. Only thing wrong is that it is a bad fit, in some places too tight and others too baggy.

I have worn these shoes soo much, they are so covetable. I got them at the end of the summer in the sale, think they were only £40! I haven't been wearing them at uni but will soon.

Kimono Kimono

I had to go to uni for the first time yesterday, I have no idea why. All we did was get a free beer, sit for half an hour then go - kinda pointless but, free beer. Im pretty sure most people put some effort into their outfits for the first impressions. I rocked up in this kimono from primark, so glad I bought it now, its so easy to wear and I love the layering affect with the dress. The socks are also primark, you cant see them that well (actually pale pink) but they added a bit of colour to the outfit. I don't know if it is obvious but I can't stay away from primark at the moment!

Shelly Vella Rucksack via Miss Selfridge

Bag // Miss Selfridge
Look at this new bag I've just got! I'm obsessed! It reminds me of something you would get from a market in Thailand. I think the clashing patterns, fabrics and colours make it so unique to anything else on the high street. Not to mention I got it in sale for £40 instead of £75, amazing!

LONDON

earings // ASOS
jumper // H&M
skirt // topshop
socks // topshop
shoes // shoebox

Visited London today with my house mates to research for our summer uni project. It is obvious that fashion week is on by all the amazing street style around! We visited all the major fashion areas, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Sloane Street, Carnaby Street and Covent garden. Most are crazy expensive (£2,700 for a coat!) but it was fun.

So, I wore a H&M jumper, Topshop skirt, Topshop socks and Shoebox shoes. I did feel like I was making a bit of a statement in this outfit as more or less everyone else was starting to bring out the dark Autumn outfits but I loved the different aspects to it. I also love Fish braids! They are so easy to do, take hardly any time at all and make any outfit much more interesting.

P.s Met that girl from Hollyoaks!

Tiger socks

t shirt // copper garden
socks // topshop
shoes // forever 21

I'm loving having a blog at the moment, it's the perfect excuse to play dress up. All my house mates are out at the moment so I have the house to myself for the first time. So I might of gone into Jess's room and stolen her top (shhh).
She made it her self and sells it on her blog (copper garden) its amazing, I love the colour, I think it clashes really well with my hair. The leather skirt has a really comfortable waist band. The socks are new, I've wanted some bold printing socks for ages, so I went into Topshop and got the 3 for £8 offer. I think adding the socks to the outfit with the courts gives it a real fashionable edge.

Peep Toe

dress // h+m
shoes // new look
bracelets // aldo, topshop
earings // primark

I can't quite say goodbye to the summer wardrobe yet - hence why I am still in a pale pink floating dress. I do love this dress though, my mum actually gave this to me as she thought it didn't suit her (win) . It has a flattering fit and is comfortable; I love the detailing at the top of the dress too, it stops it from being too plain. I tried the outfit with different belts and necklaces but decided it looked best on its own. The shoes are a new investment which I adore! I haven't had a chance to wear them out yet but from wearing them in the house (which i've been doing a lot of) the seem wobbly, but easy to wear. I love the way they give the outfit a grunge edge rather then being too girly.
